Australia for Christ Church is proud to announce that we will be hosting Sam Childers AKA the Machine Gun Preacher for both our 9am and 10:30am services on August 20th!
In 1998, Sam arrived in South Sudan to help repair huts damaged by the conflict of the Second Sudanese War. As he stumbled across the body of a child torn apart by a landmine, his life was forever changed and he made a pledge to God that he would do all he could to help the people of Southern Sudan.
He has since built an orphanage in South Sudan that houses over 300 children, in an area that is in constant attack from the Lord’s Resistance Army.
A testimony so powerful that in September 2011, famous Hollywood actor Gerard Butler starred in a movie about the Machine Gun Preacher’s life.

– Register your kids at the KIDS R.O.C.K. stand before service time.
– Rest assured that your kids will have lots of fun in a safe environment managed by our trained kid’s program leaders.
– Parent’s room is available in the main hall for those with infants.
